Osteopathy
Through skillful manipulation of the body, Osteopaths focus on facilitating the health of joints and muscles. They can help to reduce pain and stiffness, increase range of motion, and strengthen the overall framework of the body.
Chiropractic
Doctors of Chiropractic are highly skilled hands-on clinicians that focus on the spine, but also treat injuries of the nervous and muscular systems. After a thorough physical assessment, treatment will focus on restoration of function through education, hands care, and prescribed home care.
Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy focuses on improving your physical function, mobility, and overall quality of life. Whether you're recovering from an injury or managing a chronic condition, physiotherapy has you covered with sessions being customized to your individual needs and goals. The sessions may include but are not limited to manual therapy, exercise prescription, and modalities.
Mobility Therapy
Mobility Therapy improves flexibility, enhances range of motion, and supports freer movement through targeted passive stretching, joint mobilization, and percussive massage. Performed fully clothed on a treatment table, these invigorating sessions help you feel more awake and ready to move.
Registered Massage Therapy
Massage therapy consists primarily of hands-on manipulation of the soft tissues of the body, specifically, the muscles, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments and joints for the purpose of optimizing health.
Massage therapy treatment has a therapeutic effect on the body and optimizes health and well-being by acting on the muscular, nervous and circulatory systems. Physical function can be developed, maintained and improved; and physical dysfunction and pain and the effects of stress can be relieved or prevented through the use of massage therapy.
Bodyology offers several types of treatments: deep tissue massage, sports massage, relaxation massage, therapeutic massage, and Swedish massage.
Aromatherapy Massage
This aromatherapy enhancement incorporates a blend of essential oils to heighten your massage treatment. You can now customize your therapeutic experience with your choice of aromatherapy scents.
Pre & Postnatal Massage
Prenatal Massage Therapy: Massage is generally safe to receive right up until childbirth. Please consult with your doctor/midwife before booking.
Postnatal Massage Therapy: As a general guideline, it is advised to wait 8-12 weeks after childbirth. Whenever you feel ready, an RMT can safely provide massage therapy post-natal adapting to your specific physical/recovery needs.
Massage Therapy with Acupuncture
Registered massage therapy mixed with medical acupuncture for the therapeutic purpose of modulating abnormal activity of the nervous system and/or the endocrine, exocrine and immune systems, in pain syndromes, functional problems.
Massage Therapy with Cupping
Cupping therapy involves the application of plastic cups on the skin using a pump-like applicator to adjust the level of suction. The cups can stay in place and/or be manually manipulated by the RMT using a variety of techniques to lift and spread the tissue. Cupping therapy facilitates deep tissue massage by allowing more space for the underlying muscles to effectively soften and release. DISCLAIMER: Cupping therapy may leave temporary marks on the skin.
Manual Therapy (non RMT)
Provided by Oleksii who was trained and practiced in Massage Therapy while in the Ukraine. While he is not an RMT here in Canada, he is hopeful to utilize his knowledge and skills to provide trained manual therapy to support your health & wellbeing.
Personal Training
Our Personal Training Assessment is a comprehensive evaluation that helps us understand your current fitness level, health history, and personal goals. Through strength, flexibility, and endurance testing, as well as posture and movement analysis, we create a customized fitness plan tailored to your needs. Whether you’re aiming to lose weight, build strength, or improve overall health, this assessment ensures a personalized approach to help you reach your fitness goals effectively and safely.
